Vision and Mission

Global Girl Power is a global movement committed to empowering, supporting, inspiring, protecting and respecting women and girls around the world because every girl has the power to change this world. Global Girl Power is a platform where we can stand against the gross violation of women’s rights because atrocities against women are being committed each and every day. Even in the 2st century it is shocking to know that women and girls worldwide from all walks of life continue to face the worst kinds of abuse including female feticide, infanticide, honour killings, trafficking, forced prostitution, genital mutilation, child marriage, physical, sexual and emotion abuse, pornography, forced labour and body health issues.

We envision a world where positive change spreads globally from one woman and girl to another. We aim to work with other organizations to provide resources and education to support the learning and growth of young girls and provide women with the tools to create a sustainable means of living, allowing them to become social entrepreneurs and change makers in their community.

When a woman is empowered with support and education she is then able to recognize the brilliant potential within her and becomes the light of an entire community. She is more likely to stand against violence, earn a greater living, have a healthier family, and support others in her community, in turn continuing to spread Global Girl Power.
